College history and awards since 2002

2002 –
Australian College of Training registered as a business and began trading delivering non accredited food safety and food safety audit training.
2003 –
Early in 2003 the College became a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and began delivering traineeships in the food and meat processing industries in Western Australia
2004 –
The College was appointed as the National Preferred Provider for the Stock Feed Manufacturers’ Council of Australia.
2004 –
The College purchased a small training centre 20 minutes South of Perth in Leeming.
2005 –
The College began delivering to the Stock Feed Industry in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania
2005 –
Finalist in the WA Training Excellence Awards
2005 –

2007 –
Finalist in the WA Training Excellence Awards
2008 –
Australian College of Training purchased a $3M purpose built campus in Victoria Park
2008 –
Added new sector and qualifications to scope including Training and Assessment, Business, Retail, Transport and Logistics, Agriculture, Baking Retail, Manufacturing (including competitive)
2008 –
Won the Western Australian Training Excellence Awards and Australian Training Awards
2009 –
Won the Australian Meat Industry National Provider of the Year Awards
2009 –
Received contracts and began training butchering and baking apprentices
2010 –
Began training refugees and unemployed in access and equity programs
2011 –
Added Diplomas to scope to achieve an offering of 9 diplomas and various sectors
2011 –
Achieved registration for CAVSS and USIQ literacy and numeracy funding
2011 –
Finalist in WA Training Excellence Awards
2012 –
Finalist in WA Training Excellence Awards
2013 –
Began delivering training to the Food and Drug Authority from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong Food and Environmental Hygiene Department
2014 –

2015 –
Approved delegate of the Australian Skills Quality Authority
2019 –
Relinquished Approved delegate of the Australian Skills Quality Authority
